I was served water from a container that had a smashed bug inside, and the waiter pretended that it was not a big deal. Also, he rinsed out the pitcher and attempted to serve more water from the pitcher. The general manager gave a quasi apology and a $5.00 discount for the bug

Slowest service on the planet. Food is mediocre at best. The last waiter we had even had the gall to tell my husband his beer was what the brewer made ?!?!?!?!?! He ordered an Oktoberfest and clearly got a wheat beer. Here - the customer is NEVER right.

How did this get into pubcrawler. This is not a database for everyones favorite restaurant. It is supposed to be for brewpubs and micro friendly bars. This place is neither. There are other websites for rating your favorite eatery. Putting places like this in here just dilute the focus of pubcrawler...to find a place to enjoy a good, quality brew...

Yeah, beer bar? I don't think so... Maybe they serve a beer or two, but I would consider it a restaraunt and not a bar. Fine for food, though. For Beer Check out Last Chance Saloon in Columbia, or go down to Ellicott City.

I plead ignorance! The Tomato Palace is one of my favorite restaurants...I wasn't aware that it also qualified as a beer bar?! As they serve some fine pasta, I always order up a nice Chianti with my meals there. I can vouch for the food though...AWESOME...as for the "beer bar" aspect, I'll have to engage in some extra research (dang, I hate when that happens) and get back to you.
